My review says very good but really it was good not worth a three star though it was better than that. Good location particularly in the evening as the sunsets viewed from here are lovely. We had drinks and small tapas (chorizo and patatas bravas) which were good service was good and we weren’t kept waiting long. Overall a nice place to while away some time, people and sunset watching.
Had the best food but especially octopus with grilled veggies. Awow taste. The staff was love at first sight and service. Very good wine presentation, kindness skill, perfect smile from everyone in the restaurant and again, the food amazing. Adding also warmth to the place while we know about the Tramuntana wind. Because it was right in the middle of the restaurant rankings, we were hesitant to select this restaurant. We decided to risk it as we felt that it had one of the best views. We were happily surprised by the quality of the food and the service; and much to my delight one of the best Mojitos I’ve had on my visit to Spain.
Great views on the harbor, the village and the church (even better at night! The 17 Euros menu offered a small sole (delicious , my wife had the paella (20 minutes wait... good news it is prepared a la minute... fresh! . Attentive service with a smile. Randomly chosen lunch spot turned out not to be the best option. The staff was rude and slow. I got an ice-cream with chunks of broken glass inside and when we told the waiter he asked if he should change it...YES PLEASE I don’t like glass in my food. Expensive, overrated and to say the least UNSAFE.
The location is good, but that is the only nice thing about this restaurant. The staff is very unfriendly, we were even forbidden to sit on the free chairs while we decide to eat. Specially the waitress act unfriendly and rude! Absolutely not recommended and a pity for this beautiful village!
We needed to go somewhere for a bite to eat. As we were staying in Tamariu, about 50 miles away, the name of this place spoke to us. First class octopus, squid and clams. The house white was pretty good, and the view was to die for. Not particularly cheap, but correct.
We had tortilla, octopus a la gallega and cod carpaccio on a small table on the veranda. Food was very good and served quickly. I found the price a bit high but Cadaqués is a very popular site, so I guess this is to be expected... Réservez une table maintenant
And that’s about it, reasonable food and service but a nice view for sunset. If you fancy a stroll away from the main area this will do fine.
