Tampico Authentic Mexican

Visit of August 5. This place was right opposite our hotel so it was nice not to go for dinner with our four children. We sat right away and drinks were quick. I ordered shrimp tacos and my husband ordered a shrimp chimichanga. The children ordered typical children's food, Lol. The sauce for my tacos could be seriously filled and sold for millions of dollars. I don't know what's in it, but it's amazing! Everyone loved their meals. I also had a blueberry margarita and my husband tried the raspberry margarita. They were both good, but we agreed that the raspberry was best. I love the relaxed atmosphere here and the staff seems to work here. They also looked full of staff, which nowadays rarely...

Friday afternoon for dinner, and it wasn't busy. Calm down. Server was really attentive. I ordered the Rock Steak (carne asada) dinner. It was pretty good and I would go back to this dinner. Price as expected. beer was good; Corona served with a lime. A good chance I'm going back here.

Wonderful place. Our party of 9 was set fast. Our server was great. Drinks were served very quickly. The food was delivered quickly. Food was good and portions were of good size. Really enjoyed our visit and given the chance would return.

Tampico had both good food and service. I would not call it authentic Mexican food in any way, but there are customers a middle west, Kansas turn to Mexican food. Sopapillas were very good!

The service is fantastic. We ordered and everything came out not even 10 minutes. The server we had was on top of their job. The food was fresh and tasted amazing.
