Fast forward to September 2018. After moving from California to North Carolina, I discovered an Indian restaurant in Morrisville, near Raleigh, with good reviews on Yelp. I decided to give it a try. I was impressed and ended up chatting with the owners about my love for Tandoori Chicken USA, mentioning how much I missed their tandoori chicken naan wraps, which have lingered in my memory for over a decade. The owners confidently claimed they could recreate it for me. I was extremely skeptical but decided to take them up on their offer. They prepared a wrap using freshly made naan, house-made tandoori chicken, lettuce, mint chutney, and their own masala mayo. When I took a bite, I was stunned...

One of my all-time favorite restaurants closed its doors years ago, and I thought I’d never have the chance to enjoy their incredible red tandoori chicken sandwich or their exquisite green sauce again. But they’re back—this time as a food truck! It’s still the same family, so those secret recipes are safe and sound. It’s absolutely wonderful. I spent years trying to recreate their dishes, but I always ended up disappointed, with meals that just didn’t measure up, and my kitchen often in chaos from my frustration. At one point, we nearly got evicted by our landlord after we installed a Tandoor oven and almost caused a fire in the process. I didn’t care about the fire codes; satisfying my crav...

This is for the Chicken Tikka Masala. I should have read some reviews before I chose to spend money here. I was halfway back to work when I opened it up to see this purplish-red glop on top of some innocent rice in the process of being stained by the watery colored mess seeping into it. I got back to work and bravely tried some. The chicken was sparse, and was shredded to stretch it out. The flavor was bland. I don't know what they used instead of tomatoes, but they clearly were faking the lack of tomatoes with the food dye. There was a mild spice to it, but nothing reminiscent of Indian food, maybe a poor lone hot pepper unfortunately made its way into the mix. I hate being brutal in a revi...

Man do i wish this place came every week to Vallejo and Front. While I haven't had anything else that had the bad reviews (Chicken Tikka Marsala), I've always, always had the best sandwhich there. The Chicken Tandoori Sandwich. It's literally the one thing I think about every Monday. Even when it's not here, I think about it... I suggest getting this sandwhich because everything is pretty delicious. The tandoori is spot on, it feels lighter since the bread isn't thick, the greens is good and the sauce.. the sauce is soo friggin good, it's ridiculous.... I'm actually super glad the line isn't long when I go because people just don't know how good it actually is so yay for me Réservez une table maintenant

This Food Truck is below average especially by SF standards. I came here on a break from the office, but I likely won't be back. They focus mainly on sandwiches, which means either Naan (which are really just flatbread and lack the texture of good Nan style wraps or sandwiches on buns. Most of these sandwiches are your typical chicken selections (fried, grilled etc. . The chicken itself is really just not super interesting and/or tasty. The flavors are lacking, not really much curry. The only savior is the green sauce, make sure to get plenty!

So I have eaten this every Wednesday (when in SF) for four years. I love their paneer sandwich. I ate it with the bread when I felt like eating like **** and over a salad when I felt like being nicer to my body. I got to know everyone at the truck for a long time and I used to look forward to Wednesday's. Now they dropped off the face of the earth and I don't think I will ever get that marinated paneer and spicy cilantro chutney (aka green sauce) in my life. WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!! I NEED YOUR FOOD IN MY LIFE

I had the chicken tikka masala rice for $9. It's already quite expensive for a food truck box lunch for that price when I can get bigger portions at a actual restaurant. The ridiculous part is that there's a piece of white plastic part in my chicken rice. Which is not edible and luckily I didn't swallow it. I'm wondering how many other things might have been in the pot that just didn't stir up into my lunch. Not risking to bite on something un-edible for lunch.

Our favorite place to eat ever since 2004. We've missed them since they've closed their physical locations. We find their truck once in awhile but it's super hard for us to find but it's worth the drive when we do. Réservez une table maintenant

I still haven't had the chance to spot your food truck lately. I really miss when you were in El Sobrante; your sandwiches are unbeatable! I still find myself craving them!
