Tan's Happy Kitchen

This is our second round visiting Tan's. The truck shows no observable concerns and is in a small pod with Mexican and Thai food trucks. There were tables out front to eat at. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the orange chicken and general Tso chicken both lunch specials. We waited a reasonable amount of time for our food to be ready and we headed home. The orange chicken was great! Really nice flavor in the sauce and the breading on the chicken was on the crisp side and not soggy. The general Tso chicken was also really good. Twice cooked food. Yuck. Tofu was rubbery. Fried shrimp was tough and burnt. Broccoli pieces were half the length of the fork. They forgot the drink. Tans was our go to after double shifts. We're on the hunt for a new place. Tans need to step back. Get fresh, clean Asian food. They used to be great. Their menu has all of the things I wanted and everything I ordered was amazing, the price is good too. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Highlights are definitely the perfectly cooked white meat chicken and the Mongolian beef that has just the right amount of

Absolutely delicious food! Great portion sizes, and the leftovers saved very well for reheating. It all came out quickly and tested fresh and full of quality.
