We have been here several times since we discovered how good this place is back in April. Our most recent trip was for Sunday lunch. Excellent!! As well as a menu, they have a served carvery. You ask for exactly what you would like from the selection of meat and veg, and it is served, and brought to your table. All very efficient. The quality of the food is excellent, and that goes for the other meals that we have enjoyed here. The meat was cooked to perfection, and there is always an excellent selection of veg. Worth booking as it is very popular. And the staff .... wonderful! Welcoming and attentive. Thank you!

Today was the 4th time as a family we have been this year, it never fails to amaze me how simply delicious and fresh the meals are. Extremely busy today 20th December. But the service and friendliness of the staff was excellent, nothing is ever too much trouble. I highly recommend to all our family and friends

Nice cosy pub which does a great sunday lunch. Vegetarian option was lovely and I enjoyed it. Puddings are nice too. Cosy atmosphere and dog friendly.
