Taqueria at Coombs Market

The restaurant was not officially open and the food was being prepared in Coombs Market Restaurant. We asked for take out The purchased was for four people and came to avocado/chicken burrito had some lettuce and two small pieces of chicken in it. There...was no avocado at all. My husband had a chicken taco minus the cilantro. He received a shell with two pieces of chicken and a small amount of salsa. We had it home before discovering how terrible everything was and it all went into the garbage can. Shame on everyone for identifying this as anything even resembling Mexican food

I was disappointed with the lack of Covid safety measures at this restaurant. After waiting in a long line, I was surprised to see guests freely wandering around without any signage for safe exit or hand sanitizer available. Additionally, there were dogs under almost every table. The service was decent and the food was okay, but the portion size of the burrito did not justify its high price. This place is essentially a food truck with expensive dining prices despite having a nice patio area.

I just love this little place. First off, the food is outstanding. Best fish tacos I've ever had, hands down. But it's as much about the experience of sitting on the patio among all the lush flora that surrounds the market and runs throughout it....The music, the sounds of the market and the chill, happy vibes coming from the people as they walk the market. Last time I was here was August and I can't wait for my next trip to the island so I can go back!

Thought we would give this place a try based on a positive Instagram post by locals. Have to say these were the worst tacos we've ever had. Tried fish, pork and chicken. Battered fish taco was chewy and crunchy and I don't mean the batter....Not sure how that happens. Pork was tough and chewy. Chicken had no flavor. There are lots of great places to eat in the area including a number of food trucks. I won't be going back. Réservez une table maintenant

We didn't even make it inside the restaurant. We waited for minutes to be seated, but no one acknowledged us. Multiple servers walked past us without saying a word. When we informed the manager that we were leaving, he explained that they were understaffed. If that's the case, they should consider increasing wages to attract more employees. It's that simple.

Coombs market is a sensory overload kind of place, and tucked in the back of all the chaos is a pretty decent Tex-Mex(ish) glorified taco stand cafeteria. Food is good for a quick lunch and run, but if you are a big fan of...good Mexican food you will be disappointed. For the price however it works for a lot of people.

Tucked away in the corner of the produce market is a charming restaurant with a cool, shaded ambiance that serves delicious Mexican cuisine. I absolutely loved the tortilla soup, while the rest of my group savored the pork and beef tacos wrapped in double tortillas.

Pretty darn good tacos. Good spice, flavor, music, all good Mexican eats! Great spot outside when the weather is nice and inside the market when it's not. The habanero sauce is fantastic, hot, but incredibly flavorful. Réservez une table maintenant

Terrible soft raw gooey Buritto. Could not eat, had to throw it out. Disgusting. Management should be checking up on the quality of food being sold!

They moved the selections indoors from the food truck for winter. Okay selection. Wish we could have seen the food truck...maybe better
