Wow.....this place really took me by surprise. I'm from Paterson, NJ and always passed by this spot and didn't think anything of it. I recently came back from a trip to Mexico and was really craving some tacos(I was having taco withdrawals haha) and so I googled tacos and this was the first spot that came up. I had high hopes based on the other Google reviews. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Only tacos to order, no beans or rice. I ordered chicken, al pastor and oreja. They come in 4 tacos each. With 2 bottled drinks, came out to $48 each (when did tacos become so expensive? or $53.xx if paying with card which I think is ridiculous. There’s no receipt so I have no idea how much individually. The truth is they are the best tacos I have ever eaten. My husband is Mexican and he doesn't eat Mexican food from anywhere, because he says they don't have the Mexican flavor. But we love Brenda Lee's tacos at Patterson. And the staff is very attentive, which is something very important in any food place. And those spicy sauces and the roasted onions with the nopales!! Ummm and I better not even continue because it makes me hungry. ??????
too expensive for what they offer, I bought 10 orders, they didn't give me cucumbers or radishes, just a lot of spicy sauce, the carnita or the carne al pastor don't have any flavor. Those who work there reluctantly serve you and if you pay with a card, they will They charge tax and an extra 14 dollars, I don't know why I'm going back there ?

I was looking forward to these tacos especially because the tortillas are hand made. I was disappointed as the meat was not seasoned well. It was either over seasoned or under seasoned.
Very bad communication and they treat you poorly, they say one thing and it is another and they treat you like they don't want to sell that restaurant very badly.
