I have been here a total of 3 times and I officially will never be back.There was a ROACH crawling up the wall at our table.We get the waitress and let her know..she has the nerve to say do u wanna cash out so we can clean your area girl whattt? Cash out?? So we asked to speak to the manager... She goes in back, I guess telling everyone cause then everyone out kitchen starts looking out way. 4 minutes later, a manager emerges. This is my usual go to place after church on Sunday. Got out early and didn't realize it til I sat down and had a breakfast menu. It was 10:30am. Asked if I could order lunch and the waiter said it was possible. Ask for chips and salsa and was told that they charge for it before 11am. Said okay and didn't order any. The waiter brought our (the wife and I) food to the table a little after 11pm. Asked since I ordered lunch and it was after 11pm could I now have chips. Was told no. I had to order my food after 11pm. Really. I realize they are complimentary, but REALLY. I don't know why this rubbed me wrong, but I won't go back. We were unaware that it was karaoke night when we visited this restaurant. We waited for 30 minutes before a waitress came to our table, and had to ask for refills multiple times before receiving them. Despite several staff members standing around, only certain ones could serve drinks, while none could take a food order. The food was mediocre at best. The tables were too close together, making it difficult to move around. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
It's always packed. This place is a literal local favorite. I recommend anyone visiting Waco to this spot. Great drinks, food, and staff. The food sometimes takes a minute to get out but that's just because there are always so many people there. It's worth the crowd! We all call this place #9. We've had birthdays, lunches, and team dinners here for the past 15 years.

I had to wait to be seated and was only allowed to sit in certain sections, as the rest of the restaurant was mostly empty. It took about 15 minutes to flag down a waitress for drinks, and another 45 minutes to receive our food. Unfortunately, the meat on the tacos was spoiled and had a bad smell. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.
Service was horrible there was maybe 10 partys it was not busy for them to take 10 min to get any service. One server sitting looking at his phone and the other eating in the corner hall way. Stop in fo a quick bit and what do ya kno, a full bar menu!!! Well, a good morning starts wit da **** Mary. This tastes well but mayb a lil more of a kick to get ya motor runnin. If you're craving homemade delicious food that tastes like it came straight from your grandma's kitchen, then this is the place for you. The queso is outstanding, and don't miss the daily specials. The service is top-notch as well. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
