Taqueria La Favorita

The food was really good. But what I didnt like was that they do those extra charges like charging $5 to pay with card. Another thing is that whenever you order food to go they charge you I dont know if is the plate they charge or the aluminum foil. On the enchiladas poblanas for what ever inside meat or cheese they also charge you extra fee. Be aware of any extra fees because they wont tell you until you get your receipt.

I have came to this place once with a friend and now I find myself coming back again. Majority of the food is good here and great price for it too. I would definately recommend this place. Update: 2/12/2020 We came again and the service was good and the food was delicious. Here are some pictures of what we had and how the place looks like. #TrueReviews Please Like and Share

While this is the first time at this restaurant, it was great!! I dropped by for lunch and there were several people there. I had expected to wait but didn't at all. I sat, had my food ordered and on the table in under 10 min. I would highly recommend. One drawback is they don't have soda in a fountain only cans. But overall one of the best taco places I have been too

Waitstaff was great and attentive. Ordered a burrito and shrimp cocktail. The meat (fajita) was tender,the cheese was good and melty. I wish the burrito had avocado ???? and or crema inside. The shrimp cocktail was really big and packed with shrimp. Itwas a Lil too spicy for me but I just added some ketchup. The food was reasonably priced and good variety.

The service was very bad, it took half a hour for the food to arrive just for my order to not come (he took our order by memory) he apologized and claimed to put my order in the second time. I waited another half hour just for nothing to show up..all Iordered was tacos con huevos?

Since inflation, both the quality and portion sizes have decreased, while prices have gone up. When I tried to pay my bill, the woman at the register grabbed my attention, and the service was quite slow. This used to be my favorite place.

The food is amazing! However, the employees could benefit from smiling more and showing more enthusiasm. I didn’t feel very welcome while sitting and placing my order. The service has room for improvement.

My favorite visit during South Houston. Shows the most authentic Mexican cuisine in Texas. You cannot go wrong with the enchilada dinner during the week or the special Tacos Al Vapor on weekends!

Food was good. Our waiter was friendly ans attentative. The guacamole was a bit salty but overall the experience was a good one
