This is the first taqueria I have been to since moving here from San Diego, where great Mexican food is common and very traditional. I was really sick with a nasty virus and hadn't been able to eat much for days due to a sore throat. I knew the only thing I had been missing from my care routine was some good ol caldo (soup). This restaurant isn’t the best option for burritos; the rice lacks flavor, and the burritos can be unbalanced and messy. However, the regular tacos are decent. The prices on the menu are misleading and significantly higher than indicated. For instance, the menu taped to the front door and the one on the wall list huevos con chorizo at $10.95, but the actual price is $14.95 before tax. The chorizo is homemade, but it was the worst I’ve ever tasted—completely lacking in flavor and extremely bland. My family and I have tried this place several times, and I’m really disappointed with the food overall.
I ordered an “El Popeye,” which I have ordered on several occasions, whether it be Daly City location or the Geneva location, and never have I received LETTUCE instead of spinach. Extremely dissatisfied. I will never order from the Daly City location ever again.Btw, I also ordered a veggie burrito, which I have not eaten. If the spinach is is the burrito, I will LMAO, but still be annoyed.
The food was cold. We specifically told them we wanted chips and salsa with our burritos and tacos to go. Got home, no chips or salsa. Went back, and she tried to give me a single small bag for a 60$ order. like she couldn't care less. Go to the one on Geneva, not this

I really enjoyed my burrito! My only issue was that the carnitas was a bit drier than I prefer. However, I would definitely order from this place again. My fiancé will be trying the Veggie Burrito tonight, so I can't review that yet, but I'm sure it will be fantastic!
The experience was straightforward, but I had a cheese-only corn quesadilla, and the soft taco was absolutely fantastic. The churros were definitely the highlight; you have to eat them right away while they’re still warm to fully appreciate them.
New to the neighborhood and will definitely be returning for more. Some of what we got for our table: nachos, Tortas, and burritos. Mostly all with carnitas, and all were excellent. Be warned that the tortas are massive ???? I totally recommend!
I ordered a burrito, but it lacked flavor. The tortilla was stale, and the meat was in large chunks instead of being cut into smaller pieces. Overall, it was disappointing.
