Taqueria Mi Ranchito

This restaurant used to be one of our favorites for many years, but lately the owner has made some disappointing changes. The portion sizes have been drastically reduced; the burritos are now only about half the size they once were—small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. The quality of the tortillas has also declined; they are much thinner than they used to be. Moreover, the orange salsa, which once had a nice kick, is now quite bland and lacking in spice. It's unclear whether the owner has cut back on the ingredients or if there was a complaint, but the salsa was definitely better in the past. I’ve lived in SoCal a little over a year and have tried many taco spots trying to find the perfect one. My search ended when I found this place! All of their menu items are really good but my favorite are the lengua tacos. They have fresh aguas frescas, not powdered, and give you grilled onions with your order along with lime, radish and salsa. They have 3 types of salsas and they’re all good, you have to try them all. The owners are very kind and polite and always greet you with a smile. I live 20 minutes from this area but it’s totally worth the drive.

I ordered the tacos de lengua, carne asada fries, and a carne asada burrito. I appreciated that they asked if we wanted more salsa and if everything looked good with our order. The food was quite good; the meat was well-seasoned, and the salsas had a nice kick. However, I wish the carne asada fries were seasoned a bit more and had a thicker texture. For easy parking, I recommend using the Bank of America lot after its closing hours. You can also call in your order in advance.

I called in a pick-up order, anticipating trouble finding parking, but there was plenty of space in the Bank of America parking lot. The weather was lovely and breezy, so I decided to enjoy my meal right there in the lot. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. The pastor tacos and asada fries were exceptional. All the salsas were fantastic, and the grilled onions and other sides paired perfectly with the meal. We ordered takeout, and we really enjoyed our dinner, which cost around $10–20 per person.

Damn good food! Second time here and still totally worth the drive. Los Angeles has so many Mexican options it's hard to decide what's the best. These guys tho, their pastor is the best I've had.Food: 5/5

This place is fantastic! The carne asada and al pastor are delicious, and their sauces are exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly, too. It's my favorite taco truck in the Valley! Réservez une table maintenant
