A few weeks ago I really felt like tacos. It was a Sunday so Cinco de Mayo (CDM), my favorite and within walking distance, is closed Sundays. (Good for them, they work really long hours 6 days a week). So I tried a new local place a little bit farther down the street. It has really good reviews by several of my fav Yelp reviewers, and I like to support local/non-chain businesses. They have a really nice menu and quick/pleasant service, so I didn't regret trying it. I ordered the crispy chicken tacos w/beans rice and a Jarrito (Mexican soda in a glass bottle, I love these/ALL the flavors) to go. The food is so yummy I really loved it but I?m a little disappointed with the service. There were two girls and the one was really nice and helpful but the other one was really unpleasant and seemed annoyed when I asked her to repeat herself. I?venever been and obviously had questions about the menu and she seemed frustrated with the fact that I asked her a simplequestion. She also later handed me my food with a really bad attitude and didn?t even bother looking at me or saying anythingwhen I thanked her for the food. Really spoiled it for me.
Popped in on a whim to feed my contractors. We had different items including a carne asada burrito, a grilled chicken burrito, a torta and some tacos. It was all delicious. Bonus points for the pan dulce for a sweet treat after your meal. I really enjoyed the mom and pop family atmosphere and look forward to returning next time I’m in Martinez and craving Mexican.
This place is fantastic—what a hidden gem! I absolutely love their food and would recommend it to anyone. I'm a DoorDash delivery driver, and that's how I discovered them. They consistently have the food ready on time when I pick up, and the staff is always incredibly friendly. I've eaten here three times, and I've enjoyed every meal! Food: 5/5

This is a cozy little spot with excellent food. We dined in for brunch, and the prices were reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was also quite good, rated at 4, and the atmosphere was inviting, also rated at 4. I highly recommend trying the tostadas and lengua!
I just stopped by and they're closed down! Previous review I was passing through Martinez and stopped by this restaurant just now. The food is super fresh and delicious! Very flavorful Authentic with big portions.
Best Mexican food in Martinez! Best prices best service best menu and best for literally. Hope y'all come support this family business and help out to thrive they have something special going on over here.
I ordered the Quesabirrias, and they were incredible! The atmosphere is charming and cozy, featuring authentic traditional Mexican cuisine. It's a fantastic spot for a quick meal. Food: 5/5

I love everything here. The nice staff, the groceries but most of all the asada burrito and cucumber Agua Fresca. Great place if you're really hungry because the burrito is huge!
