Tara A Country Inn

Lauren and I just got married on 16. July and spent our honeymoon through seven states for the last days we spent in Tara. The only thing we regret is not to stay there any longer! Every aspect of the experience was great, from service, hospitality, to food. Two beautiful ladies come with the names of Mrs. Betsy (Hostess) and waitress Mrs. Debbie filled our hearts with warmth and content. The inn, as well as the room is full of beautiful antiques, historian lovers will shine. What has touched our hearts is the welcome dish waiting for us in our room. Wow. It?s been a few years since we have been here. A lot of changes and renovations. I had to inquire about Katie O?Hara?s room as it use to have a bath down a spiral staircase. But I was informed they moved the bath to the same floor. Now, since the renovation, there is a sitting room with an original fireplace that was uncovered behind the wall in the bath. Really Cool.

Wonderful getaway. The staff was so friendly and welcoming . Daria was the best ! We loved her. Betsy the hostess in dining area was awesome. Bethann was a great waitresses. I believe it was Martha at the fro t desk was patient and kind . This was just an awesome place.

Not overnight; but I saw the rooms and they seemed right for the antebellum era. The weapons collection is extensive and very impressive. This alone is worth a visit. Very nice plots surround the main building.

Wonderful experience. The grounds are beautiful. Attention to detail has been noticed. The staff remembers your name that made it a more personal experience. We will definitely come back.
