The food was lackluster. Having visited Portugal before, I can confidently say this didn’t taste authentic. The bread was stale, possibly a day old, and it wasn't served with butter or olive oil. One appetizer arrived, but we waited another twenty minutes for a few more to come out. While the mussels and chorizo were tasty and the Caesar salad was quite good (though not exactly a traditional Portuguese dish), my steak was overcooked—it was supposed to be medium rare but was well done. Celebrated my aunt's birthday here last night, food was good! Cozy little place! Feels very homey, this is one of their fave local places and I can see why. Come here with your appetite because everything is served family style! I had the swordfish which was good! Not dry at all, others had tilapia, red snapper, eggplant, steak (with egg on top) and stuffed chicken with Portuguese chorizo which were delicious! Sides which were served family style to go with your entrees are fries, rice, veggies and home made chips which were my fave and so good! Definitely a family place with good food!

First time here, went for a lunch with family. The food was very delicious and customer service was excellent. Appetizers and Main Entree were a very good size; we received family style which we can all enjoy. The restaurant itself isn't made for big parties and the kids chicken nuggets with fries were so gross with no flavor and not cooked well; I'd recommend something different from kids menu. I'd recommend the place for people to try.

It's a mom and Pop authentic Portuguese food restaurant , we have been there a half dozen times and each time we enjoyed ourselves , the service is wonderful. The food taste great, and it is very reasonably priced this little hideaway is on Newbridge Road in East Meadow you'll feel like you're stepping into a small Portuguese town.Try it you will like it.

This place is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is all friendly, attentive and nice. The food is amazing. I highly reccomend the all-you-can-eat rodizia. The meat is high quality and flame cooked to charred perfection. The soup and grilled fresh calamari is also excellent.

The seafood here is incredible—everything from fresh octopus and grilled sardines to calamari, tuna steak, and swordfish. The meat dishes are also outstanding, and I absolutely love the sangria! The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting.

I went here on a date night with my husband. The service is excellent. The portions are generous and the drinks are strong. Very cozy and clean on the inside. We will definitely return.

Everything is always very good and we've had a lot of dishes from here. I've only done takeout but would like to try dining in sometime soon! I would definitely recommend it.

Old world restaurant great chicken soup and barbecue chicken. Good bar selections very reasonable prices
