Been coming here for years and the food consistently tastes the same which I appreciate. This place has the best Fritay especially the tassot (fried goat) in Long Island, hands down! My husband and I go for it weekly because it's so good. Other dishes are good too such as the snapper and fried turkey. Customer service is just ok not the best and I wish they would accept debit/ credit card but other than that its a good restaurant!

I have been coming to this place ever since I was a child. They had the best patties especially after I came from church. I went back to this restaurant after moving a few years ago and it was even better than I remembered. I recommend this Taste the Island if you wanna try Haitian food! I will never come back to this place again. This old man was very rude to me when I ordered my food. I left to go get change and came back to him yelling at me for not waiting for him. Seriously they have no etiquette at all. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Last week was my 1st time there. I ordered the tassot with rice and beans and plantains. It was very tasty. And I also ordered chicken patty which was really good, the dough was not hard as a rock

Amazing Haitian dishes. Huge portions, delicious fried pork, plantains, rice and beans and patties. Everything I tasted was delicious. Also amazing slaw/ hot sauce, home made. Yummy
