The Garlic Rice ($10.95) was deliciously flavorful and required no additional seasoning. On the other hand, the Kare Kare ($30.95) was somewhat disappointing in terms of flavor. While it has a hint of peanut aroma, it lacks a strong peanut taste. However, there are plenty of vegetables included, such as green beans, eggplant, and Shanghai bok choy, along with some honeycomb tripe and oxtail. A side of Bagoong (fermented fish paste) is provided, which does help enhance the Kare Kare’s flavor, so be sure to use it. Don't waste the Kare Kare sauce, as it pairs wonderfully with the garlic rice. The Pork Adobo ($17.95) was quite flavorful, offering a substantial portion of tender, lean pork with...

As a Filipino, I have high expectations when it comes to Filipino food so this plays a lot with the disappointment that I felt upon my dining experiences in this restaurant. The Lumpia Shanghai that we ordered both times was not good. We also tried theirweekend buffet and I thought most of the food were just blah. The only thing I enjoyed was the fried tuyo (no one can mess uptuyo) and the garlic rice. The lechon was tasty so that's one star plus another star for the service which wasn't bad (wasn'tthat great either). Compared to Patio Filipino which is their sister restaurant, I think tastebuds have a long ways to go interms of flavor and service.
My family went to Taste Buds this past Sunday, to eat Filipino breakfast buffet. The buffet food line-up was very delicious. They have all kinds of food, like, Pork Adobo, bopis, sisig, lechon dinadakan, adobong spareribs, sinigang na lechon, mixed vegetables, bokchoy with garlic and the best of all dry fish. I love it My wife and I we were craving for 'dry fish ' and TasteBuds restaurant have it on that day, so off we went. If you never had not try dry fish before, you should try it, its very salty but it delicious with rice, oh yeah drink lots of water when eating dry fish.
The website is not updated! We went there at 11am no food prepared, no dine in and the waitress said the food will be available at 1pm. We drove from San Jose just to try this place but it’s so disappointing! We wasted our time, gas, and effort to nothing. Their website is so misleading! They should put that dine in is not available, and they should put the real and updated picture of their place right now! Looks so chaos and unsanitary! I will never recommend this place to anybody. Also Zero STAR for customer service! Réservez une table maintenant
I want to give 5 stars but something threw me off about this restaurant. First of all the food was tasty. The disappointing part was the waitress was not attentive to me and my guest throughout the stay. It was only at her convenience. We waited12min till we flagged her down. It was not crowded at all. I felt that we was neglected because we are not Filipino. Customerservice makes a big impact of the experience. I am willing to try again at a later time. To see if it's a one time experience.
Love this Filipino restaurant. Dishes are almost as good as home cooked meals. We came for crispy tadyang and unfortunately they don?t have it that day. The rest of the dishes were tasty and good!!
The $380 small-sized lechon was not worth the price. The portion was very small compared to what we paid. The staff was unfriendly, much like their "BABOY" (which translates to pig in English).
Too expensive for the portions. The food is meh. Location is great, but parking is scarce. Lechon, sure, but that?s pretty much all they offer that?s not widely available. Réservez une table maintenant
