Came here with my wife and two small children on 11/6/21. The hostess seated me in the bar without asking preference, where it was loud beyond belief. I noticed that folks who looked like they were older were being seated in the dining room, and younger looking people were being seated in the bar. We sat for approximately 10 minutes waiting for a server and weren’t even acknowledged. Nobody came to offer water or greet us or anything. The place wasn’t even busy. Also, on their menu is a tiny little sticker where they have tiny fine print that says you, the customer, are going to pay a higher price than advertised for your food if you’re paying with a credit or debit card. we love to go here it is a family business, service is always top notch the owners check how everything is not like a chain. I like the gyroscope, I also get freshly caught fish. bier on hahn is price right. the outside terrace is the largest around. the staff was there forever. Cold big beer to great trips sitting in the sun it won't be better than this.
Tavern on the Main has some of the best property at any restaurant I've ever been, the service and quality of food is unbeatable, not to mention it has one of the largest outdoor terraces in Clawson. Would recommend everyone who goes outside and have a good time and good food.
Tavern on the Main is a family favorite here. It’s local, it’s family owned and operated and the food is served fresh and with a smile. We love the shrimp skewers and the many variations of a Greek salad. Don’t forget the side of beets to share! Healthy and delish!!!

The waiter was so busy talking to the cook and 1 of the 3 customers, my hamburger was overcooked and mediocre at best. It was very overpriced for what you got. I won't be back, I can get good service and good food for a better price elsewhere
A great place to go anytime. Great staff and always clean. The food is consistently good and the terrace is huge. You'll love the family she owns, very good people! Support local Clawson!
My favorite place to go when I'm the city! Good drinks, best Greek salads and chili! The owner treats us like a royal when we come!
Best burger around IMO. Good beer list and the remodeling is looking excellent. Happy to see new restrooms...
