I made this reservation based on recommendations from Trip Advisor and other sites particularly for the decor and ambience, coupled with outstanding food. We arrived on time for our dinner and was told the restaurant was full and was given a table in the hotel lobby amongst some other tables and couches. The service was terrible, waiters were obviously over taxed and eating in the middle of a hotel lobby was ridiculous. I overheard a waiter telling another couple that this happens all the time and they had to seat people in a meeting room. Booked this restaurant off trip advisor rankings 2 days in advance for my wife’s birthday, when we arrived it was very busy and loud, we were asked if we like to be seated at bar as they were busy, we said no as we had pre booked. Sat at the table for over 15 minutes before our waitress greeted us, food and drinks were average quality for high prices, guess your paying for the location.
The brunch food was very good with gluten free options but the service was definitely lacking. It took so long to get a server's attention and to receive everything that we asked for. Not an attentive serving staff. It was definitely not a friendly, welcoming environment but a really cool space in a great location in Old Montreal with good menu selections and food.
Vraiment excellent , autant au niveau de la nourriture qu au niveau du service ! Dominic , un des serveurs est excellent ! Il est vraiment à sa place ! Our waiter, Dominic was incredible. The service was perfect, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the braised beef with risotto. The cocktails and wine were divine. Thank you Dominic for such a wonderful evening.
They constantly impress me after each visit. The food is awesome, very flavourful! Dominic our waiter is so good ! And Camillo who went above and beyond to change us to our favourite Table is also very nice.
Great food and great service. Our waiter was Ludvig. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions. Everything we ordered including cocktails were delicious. Will recommend!
We had the onion soup which was delicious. I had the braised beef cheeks. This was cooked perfectly. The risotto was creamy and delicious. I would definitely recommend
