Were in town on business and one of our esteemed client recommended this restaurant for dinner. Reached just before 6 PM and the place was empty. The manager/receiver showed little interest and just pointed to wherever we wanted to sit. When accepting our order not once did he ask about any special requirements or tempering the spiciness of the items. While we were there for almost 90 minutes were not once did he ever come back to our table to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. We like the food at Tawa. We used to go to Tangra Biryani (TB across the street from Tawa particularly for their curry goat. Once TB closed (which we didn't know why at the time , we began to check out Tawa and fell in love with the place. Come to find out month later that TB and Tawa had merged businesses, so now our favorites were all in one place. We haven't been disappointed with the food nor the staff whom with open arms always greet us with warm welcomes and conversation. We enjoy our time everytime we eat here. Loved this restaurant. It’s the first time we’re visiting (Dec-05-22). Special mention to the waitress who did an amazing job and listened to all our needs. Very big kudos to her. We started with paneer 65 as starter, still the taste is lingering. . Kothu parotta, veg manchow soup, fried rice and veg Manchurian everything we ordered tasted so good. Food was prepared soon as well. Didn’t have to wait for so long. I wanted a mojito but without rum in it and the waitress checked with the chef and acknowledged the same. Well worth the money and very budget friendly too. You get more than what you paid for. Must visit if you’re an indo Chinese lover. Would love to visit here again.
This is a hidden gem! The food here is incredible and truly authentic Indian cuisine. As someone who loves Indian food and eats it frequently, I can confidently say that their samosas are the best I've ever tasted! And that was just the beginning of my lunch. The freshness of the food is evident the moment it arrives at the table. Plus, the portions are generous! I stumbled upon this place while searching for Indian food on Google Maps, and I couldn't be more thankful for that. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly friendly, just like the rest of the staff. I will definitely be returning!

this is a Hidden Jem!! their food is amazing and absolutely authentic Indian cuisine. I love Indian food and I do eat it often. however, this place had the best tasting samosas I've ever had! and that was just the start of my lunch... you can smell thefreshness of their food from the moment it hits the table. plus their portions are huge!! I found this place just randomlylooking up Indian food on Google maps, and I honestly couldn't be more grateful. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who wasthere and he was extremely friendly just like his staff. I will surely be back
My husband asked me in front of me that the little onion on side with chole will be complementary or not, the person who took order said yes , later they charged for it , I asked for salt and pepper he forgot to bring and I had not ordered aloo Partha they brought aloo Partha as well with my other order, this is happening second time with them , service or management is too slow or they don’t understand it seems and as per their quantity it’s overpriced .
This is a Indian Buffet place in Stamford. Went to this place to try their buffet as most of the restaurants have stopped the buffet service after the COVID times. The spread was decent for Veg and Non-Veg. The starters were good but the mains and the dessert was disappointing. The buffet costs $22 per person.
Decent food quality. Service is too slow. Just two guys managing the entire place even on weekends. Do try- their Fireball chicken and chicken lollypop. Indo-Chinese is all good but everything taste on the sweeter side, so you have to specifically mention to make the dish spicy. The biryanis r not that great.

The restaurant has the potential to be a great spot, but it may not appeal to everyone. Some of my friends enjoyed their experience, while others found it just alright. Personally, I really like it and have visited several times.
