While visiting the San Gabriel area, I was craving Vietnamese food for dinner and was so fortunate to discover Tay Ho! This gem was located in a nice little plaza which had plenty of parking in the parking lot in the back. When I walked in, I was impressed by the bright and clean interior. There was a kiosk, which made ordering very easy, and there were comfortable seating options at a long table against the wall.I ordered the:Tay Ho Banh Cuon Set Com Fried ShrimpPandan Vietnamese Iced CoffeeI had never tried Banh Cuon before but was interested in it based on other Yelp reviews and photos. Banh Cuon is a rich, filling entree made with soft rice batter crepes stuffed with ground pork and tende...

I've had Tay Ho on my list for such a long time because banh cuon is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes and I'm such a sucker for cute packaging/boxing. Finally came this week to try their banh cuon and a few other dishes! The staff here was so lovely and sweet very attentive checking on if we needed any extra utensils, napkins, water (because we ate in store). We got the banh cuon set that came with sweet potato fritters which were delicious and crispy and paired so well with the banh cuon which was super well made.We also got the garlic noodles with filet mignon steak and the noodles were addictive!! So buttery and garlicky and so so good. There are many Vietnamese spots in the area but Ta...

This place is cool! A little hip twist to Vietnamese food without compromising the integrity or taste of traditional Vietnamese food. I like that there's a variety of things for everyone from the different kinds of meats to vegetarian. I like the vegetarian banh cuon they have! Everything is well presented in cute boxes and a reusable cloth bag. My only wish is that there was less waste with the food packaging even though it looks very aesthetic. Service is quick and easy and food comes out pretty fast as well. I like their drinks too!

Tay Ho in San Gabriel left a great impression with their Banh Cuon Set, which includes classic steamed rice crepes filled with tasty ingredients such as pork mushroom rolls and crispy shrimp fritters. Their grilled meat sets are quite similar, showcasing BBQ pork or grilled ham. The lemongrass chicken in the Bun was both flavorful and refreshing. Additionally, they serve unique beverages like Pandan Coffee and delightful Che Ba Mau desserts. It's an excellent place for quick, authentic Vietnamese cuisine! Réservez une table maintenant

what they serve is originally from my hometown in vietnam. bánh cuốn is special for breakfast, a quick snack, etc so it was really good to see this place exists in la. rolls were filled and topped just right. cham sauce was well made. bánh xèo was huge and enough to share between 2 adults. viet coffee was strong and made well. they have a To Go concept that was born out of pandemic. easy order and go with great packaging too. authentic! follow @losangeles4everybody for full review :

This is a fantastic Vietnamese takeout spot in Sunny Plaza. I tried the bánh cuốn for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Everything in the box was fresh and flavorful. The pandan coffee was also excellent—not too strong in coffee flavor but with a wonderful pandan taste, which I loved! The rice and noodles have an Asian fusion twist. Just a heads up, the wait can be pretty long at lunchtime, but the servers are incredibly friendly!

Ordered to-go via Uber Eats. Pho Meat Ball, Com grilled pork, banh cuon set and lap xuong fried rice.Pho soup was a little too salty, but other than that, food was good. Order was on time and the staff in the front was nice and friendly. Inside was modern and clean. Will definitely order again.

A tip: while they do have a few stools and a wall table, it’s really more for people waiting to pick up their orders, so eating there isn’t really a viable option. Réservez une table maintenant

Banh xeo didn’t have much protein… way too much bean sprout and onion instead. Nice concept with takeout packaging though.
