Every time I find myself in Baltimore, I always try to make a stop at Pappas Seafood Co. for their jumbo lump crab cakes. I normally don't care for seafood, but I definitely make an exception for these crab cakes. They are filled with a generous portion of lump crab meat and the flavors are perfection! Unlike other places that taste like they have a bunch of fillers or are made with shredded crab meat, Pappas uses succulent lump crab meat that you not only see, but taste in every single bite. After trying Pappas crab cakes, I now have my go to stop for Baltimore crab cakes.
The best crab cakes ever! So happy to have found this amazing restaurant! The staff is very pleasant. We had the appetizer sampler who included Calamari, crabs, shrimps and scallops. Portions were large and inexpensive. Food was so delicious! Ordered crab cake for dinner and it was the best! Each bite had huge pieces of crabs, no fillers, well seasoned, perfectly cooked. Melt in your mouth. Restaurant is huge and they have a great sports bar area that I will be sure to check the next time in the area. Can't wait to return.
Always delicious in the Pappas Sports Bar with fantastic bar staff and great food. We love the original in Parkville. The bar staff is excellent (Tom, Don, Craig and whoever I missed! The seafood club has become a stack when ordering. If you happen to be there when the Oyster window is open, do yourself a favor and grab a dozen. They are perfectly carved with no shell. It was a pleasure.
We ordered Pappa's crab cake online for our sons 40. Birthday party. The order was simple and the person who helped me to order was patient and extremely informative. I put my order and it came overnight as promised. Pappa's crab cakes were absolutely delicious and our son was delighted. Pappas is a little expensive, but you get what you pay. Will definitely order them again.
