Tbilissi Bar, Resto, Lounge

Georgische Küche war bis gestern Abend noch etwas komplett unbekanntes für mich. Daher fließt hier auch ein wenig mein erster Eindruck georgischer Küche generell mit ein. Überraschend fand ich die Würzung des Essens. Sehr würzig und aromatisch, aber nicht scharf oder zu stark. Insgesamt hat alles dehr gut geschmeckt. Insbesondere das Käsebrot als Vorspeiche (mit 3 Sorten Käse gefüllt und dann noch mit Käse überbacken) hat es mir angetan. Leider konnte ich mir die Namen der Gerichte nicht merken, da es auc für mich vollkommen neue Worte mit einer Menge Konsonanten am Stück waren.Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Um die Ecke liegt passenderweise das Ministerium für (Finanzen+) EUROPA und das Staatstheater fast gegenüber - beste Lage für ein zufälliges Abendessen, ohne Reservierung problemlos einen schönen Tisch bekommen - nur dann: leider hielt die Weinkarte nicht, was sie verspricht, nicht mehr alles lieferbar. Das Essen kam frisch gemacht und schnell, schmeckte verführerisch wie es duftete. Scharfes Hühnchen - eine angenehme Schärfe, keine Tränen. Dem Salat könnte allerdings etwas mehr Phantasie gut tun, dafür leckeres Dressing. Das Kalb ist nicht wirklich ein Eintopf, wie man es in der deutschen Küche kennt, eher zwischen Suppe und Frikassee.

Auf Empfehlung von Kollegen war ich dort. Es gibt eine Karte mit georgischen Gerichten. Die Portionen sind groß, sodass man überlegen sollte, sich Vorspeisen zu teilen. Alles ist intensiv mit regionalen Gewürzen angemacht. Insbesondere wird mit Koriander gearbeitet (ich mag den gerne). Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war optimal - ich werde sicherlich wieder dorthin gehen, wenn ich in Saarbrücken bin.

We waited for 40 minutes for our starter, and an hour after that for the main course! The food tasted nice, but was not worth the price. It was necessary to get side dishes as the main course alone is not enough in my opinion.There are no other Georgian restaurants in SB so if you are willing to wait for your food and pay for it, then you could go here

I´ve outen out Tbilissi´s twice with a group and on both occasions I really appreciated the taste of the homemade vegan food, the friendly and efficient service as well as the cosy atmosphere. I can definitely recommend this restaurant!

I’ve never tried georgien food before and it was really great. I recommend to everyone to give it a try! The atmosphere is nice and the service was very good, too. Overall it‘s a great place and I’ll definitely go there again.

Zuvorkommender netter Service (Chef), der sich viel Mühe macht, tolle interessante, nicht alltägliche Gerichte aus Georgien, mit Fleisch und vegetarisch. Prais sehr fair. Gerne nochmal!

War mit einer Freundin dort .ich war sehr überrascht ein von außen sehr unscheinbar laden .Aber drinnen 100 Punkte beim Essen und viel Service.
