we were just in the local to make us a coffee (with alk) and a piece of cake. the service never greeted us, looked at us rather strangely. the table asked the service forsch and unfriendly what we want to order. After we said what we want, the servier nozzle asked for the proof. quite honestly: I don't have a problem with it-she did her job. we had no id’s on our walk. we said this the service (which could hardly be German) she wanted us (62j; 27j; 26j; 24;) not bring any alcoholic drink to all. I understand that she makes her job-but a little understanding, as well as friendliness would have been appropriate. we were disappointed that locally, without food/drinking. if they don't depend on...
Right next to the cable car station on Riederalp you will find the only bakery of the place Zurschmitten which has a coffee shop attached to it. A warm and cosy place to get breakfast (their gipfeli are pretty good), small lunches or if you have a sweet tooth coffee and pastry in the afternoon. There is usually a choice of fruit pies as well as their standard apple pie with hot vanilla sauce. We found the latter a little disappoining, though, as the vanilla sauce was obviously not home made and the cake not very fresh. Service is friendly and the view on the mountains is unbeatable.
That was the second time we've been coming to this restaurant last year. After a long walk in the village we went back to the cable car station to have a light lunch here. We liked the cakes here because it had its own bakery. At the same time, we could have a nice view over the valley and the surrounding area. Just so relaxed.
if we are on the riederalp, a visit in the Tea-Room may be to the breakfast, over midday in case of snowfall or in the evening to a gläschen not missing. a piece of Swiss tradition. we always had friendly and fast operation, coffee excellent, and the cakes simply pointed and that for years.

we had lunch here last Thursday and enjoyed good food and friendly service in this family-run restaurant. From its terrace you have a beautiful panoramic view of the valley and many mountains. The goulash soup is very beautiful. The tuna salad was also delicious.
This tea room was a short walk from the cable car terminal in Riederalp. It had its own bakery. I went in to have tea after hiking. I sat outside on the deck, facing the alps....so beautiful and relaxing! I highly recommend it!
in the middle of the river there is simply the best tartes on the Riederalp.And the view from the terrace is top class.A holiday on the riederalp without visiting the bakery? impossible for us.
we came to a z’vieri. Unfortunately, the selection was small and the nusstorte, for which we finally decided, was quite dry. the service was very nice.

Enjoyed a little rest sipping tea with a pastry. Went in the afternoon and just watched the people and the aroma of the room. Take a break and enjoy.
A hot cappuccino with tomato from the bakery is really good at catching up on the skiing. Nice owners!
