If you fancy a good piece of meat on a hot stone, then the cozy Alpina restaurant on Bettmeralp is the right address. We had dinner with friends and there was enough choice for each of us on the varied menu. Both our vegetarian and we, who wanted meat, had beautifully prepared plates, including a hot stone with the appropriate side dishes and sauces. Of course, we also found the right wine in the wine list and the selection of desserts rounded off the meal. The service was very friendly and attentive, which is why we really enjoyed the evening.
We were hiking from Fiescheralp to Riederalp when we passed this restaurant. They got tables outside, besides the main street, and we selected that. We ordered just drinks and cake. The quality is good, but mainly like the location of it that we can rest awhile in the middle of the walk and enjoyed the leisure feeling there.
Stayed at the Alpina once again. 6 adults and 9 children (1-7 years old). The staff was super friendly and read your every wish. The food is a dream (top quality hot stone and the salad plate with a great sauce). I recommend this restaurant to everyone who is on Bettmeralp! The boss is always there for you!
