"My husband and I stopped in to have breakfast at this golf course and it was wonderful, great food and lots of it. Coffee was the best too. Would definitely be back!!!!!! Open for breakfast and lunch. The Greek salad is amazing!!!!"

Comox Golf Course has a little treasure in this eatery. The staff are happy and pleasant, the restaurant is very clean and the food is very good. One morning we stopped in for breakfast and the cafe was moderately full. We had the full meal deal which was hot, plentiful and tasty. Later in the week we stopped in for lunch and again the cafe was quite busy I know it is all a matter of taste but for me the Balmoral burger was off the charts, OMG good. This burger is stacked with everything so be prepared to ask for extra napkins (serviettes for our S. African friends). My wife had the BBQ chicken and bacon sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed. I give the Tee Box in Comox two thumbs up. I've gone there on several occasions and I've sat inside the restaurant as well as outside on their fabulous patios. They have great breakfast and lunch menus, as well as an extensive appy menu. I would highly recommend the BBQ chicken and bacon sandwich as well as the calamari, but everything I have ever ordered has been delicious. It is a great place to unwind after work with a few drinks, but is also family friendly. Not enough can be said about the staff, they are amazing. The owners are very personable and I always feel like I'm treated like family. These are great people serving great food!I will continue to visit again and again.
Once again we tried the tee box restaurant at the beautiful Comox golf club.For a snack like nachos, hot dogs and fries or wings before or after a round of golf it is ok.Unfortunately unlike previously two years ago where I raved about the excellent "hidden gem", I must say that now the attitude of the staff and the food have turned into a grand disappointment.A couple times now we were greeted by a regretful server who debated whether guests are welcome. Then a continual "we are out of stock on that item" seemed to follow.What was not out of stock was not tasty, unfortunately, so we as a family decided to go elsewhere in the future.Unfortunate.
Rarely have I had a waitress who did all this so poorly.We asked for coffee and breakfast. After 10 minutes the coffee arrive along with everyone else on a tray, 8 separate cups going to three different tables. Then I had to wait for the milk that I asked for.After the food arrived we had to ask for cutlery, salt & pepper, napkins & water. It took 3 more requests for water before we got a glass.Really, I was beyond frustrated with the service and the other waitress had to keep bailing our waitress out.We have friends that consider this the best place in Comox Réservez une table maintenant
We arrived at 5 in the evening and all the had was an apply menu. Which would have been fine but Recipes and execution were not good. Ordered crab cakes they were wet and under cooked. Mussels were over cooked. Mushroom caps were disgusting, covered in cheese and some sweet sauce. Pork wings and french fries were just ok. Server was pleasant but not enough to get the bad taste out of my mouth. We ordered 5 apps and two drinks and the bill came to over 100 dollars. Will not be coming back for this overpriced junk.
Thank goodness they are open again after their winter break.Lunch today was delicious, their Seafood soup is loaded and tasty.The chicken bacon BLT is another plus for me, and a large portion.Too bad there was no room to taste the Chocolate Torte, must rememberto leave room next time to try it.So good to have somewhere nice to go for coffee, lunch or appys in Comox,Service is good, and the owners are friendly.A must visit place to go and eat at the Comox golf course.
Good food , great atmosphere, awesome friendly staff, and the chef makes some yummy specials! I love having a nice cold drink on the patio in the summer after a round of golf! The burgers are super delicious, soups are all made fresh, and we really enjoyed the fish and chips! Thanks again and we will be back soon!
Monday morning of August long weekend, Adrian work his magic. Hogless and The Omlette were ordered. Bothplates looked and tasted delicious. I thought the coffee was way above average, nice grind. If your looking nice little place to golf this is the place , Great breakfast , drive a bucket of ball and off to the course , or do 9 holes and have a great lunch and cold one , price is right beer is cold then go on and the back nine. Have beer on the deck after very friendly staff
