Tellos Grill Cafe In Port Wash

So this used to be our favorite go to restaurant, until we moved from the area. Tonight was our first time back in a few years. Loved the new look. Our service was as good as i remembered. Unfortunately not one of our four top was thrilled about the food. The three of us who had fajitas, all agreed that the overwhelming amount of Cilantro and the addition of tomatoes gave everything a more Italian flavor. Birria tacos also had so much Cilantro that the person eating them said it was all she could taste and only ate 2 of the 4. The margaritas were still the best. I try to get to Port Washington once a year because it 's a magical place. There are a few restaurants I love but Tellos is the one I go to every time I meet up with my old friend, because they 're reliable. As I was walking up I was thinking, oh no I ate Mexican yesterday, do I really want Mexican two days in a row? But then the smell of lamb hit me. I love the gyros here! I said to whoever was walking by, I 'm gonna go in there and buy that. And that 's just what I did.

What can I say? Tello's has been one of my favorite restaurants since it opened. And Angel has been a great contributor to our community. The food is great, the service is great, and the atmosphere is very inviting. Stop in and enjoy a wonderful meal!

Nice place. Mexican style dinner options. I also had breakfast which is traditional American. Good portions. Nice staff. Lots of seating. Convenient parking.

Had the Lagos Burrito, which is covered in queso. It was very tasty. Service was outstanding!
