Great 33rd-anniversary meal. Just a short distance from the Barter Theater. Do as we did take in a play at the theater, then have a great meal. The service was great, starting with sitting us immediately, we had reservations which helped us in the seating. My wife got the 6-oz filet mignon, farmer salad and smashed potatoes. I got the 6-oz filet mignon, farmer salad with lobster macaroni. The food was delicious. Our dessert of choice was amazing it was an Apple strudel with Carmel brûlée sauce. The waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful with selecting our meal. The atmosphere was very nice with pictures of the area of Abington, VA and seasonal music played. Although the prices online were different from the menu, the food was excellent. Atmosphere was very nice and staff very nice. It was a wee bit pricey. The salad was the best I've ever had, just needs to be a wee bit bigger. The deep fried potato was a wee small and dry. But the crunch and flavor was on point. Throw the rolls out. Not warm and a wee bit tough. We were on a time frame so we chose rather quickly. Waiter could've been more helpful with menu as he was with the couple that sat after us at the bar. I tried this place for the first time and wanted to like it. The atmosphere and service were good, unfortunately the food was not. We had the flank steak which had no flavor on the actual steak. The pasta was seasoned well and good. The fried oysters were greasy and undercooked. The fried catfish and potato patties were also greasy. The catfish was soggy. In my opinion, the grease was not hot enough before the food was cooked.
I had a delightful and relaxing dinner featuring sirloin and shrimp scampi. The onion rings were a standout! The double chocolate crème brûlée was absolutely exceptional – WOW! Mackinzey was incredibly attentive and accommodating. We definitely won’t miss this place during our next visit to the area. Cheers!!

I was disappointed with my first experience at Tenderloins. The portion sizes were too small for the price. The risotto lacked flavor, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I had high hopes after browsing their website and menu, but the only highlight of our meal was the presentation of the food.
I’ve had better steaks from the frozen section in a dollar tree. By far the worst food in the area wouldn’t recommend it to a dog. My wife got the shrimp scampi and it was barely edible. Not to mention dirty needles outside in the parking lot. Hope the next restaurant they put in it place is good.
Amazing customer service and food. We came during a snow storm and were possibly the only ones there. They welcomed us in and the food was amazing, everything was great. We will come back next time we are in Abingdon.
My wife and I ate a Tenderloins and let me tell you it is one of the best steaks I think I've ever eaten . Great food great service nice people. Nice place to take your girlfriend.
