When I waited for my order, I noticed that the other four people waiting for their orders chat with each other when they knew it was a friendly atmosphere and I was included in the small conversation. It was not long and I was introduced into the history of the woman who owned and operated Teriyaki Plus. Her husband had died a few years earlier and she was left to do her business alone. Their history is one of resistance and belief that their hardships are just a test. Your story is looking on YouTube, Teriyaki Plus and you will see. I have the garlic chicken and it was certainly worth waiting.
I was at work and hungry and decided to look for Teriyaki. Found Teriyaki Plus right across the street. I must say the place is not very clean inside but 5 stars is because the Spicy Chicken and beef teriyaki I ordered was cooked just as I like it. The owner is very friendly and had great customer service and attitude! While there I found out she makes all her sauces by hand! I absolutely loved the taste of every single one! I would recommend this one over the other teriyaki places I have tried nearby! Will definitely have my lunch there next time and prices are right on point.
The food here is quite decent. I found the chicken to be slightly dry, and the rice was a bit too sticky for my taste, but overall, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely return. They also offer extra menu items like gyoza and miso soup, which is a nice bonus. The owner is very kind and welcoming.
