Actually the best hash browns... Before our tour over the Furka, Grimsel and Susten passes, I came across a very nice report online that highlighted the restaurant as the best restaurant with the best Swiss Rösti and the best cakes . So we took a break, sat down on the cozy terrace, enjoyed the open, completely friendly nature of the host and tried classic rösti... And what can I say? The video was in no way exaggerating. A very fine taste experience that stands for top product quality and loving preparation. I would highly recommend anyone driving the Susten Pass to take this experience with them. Sehr nette Begrüssung und der Wirt macht gleich auf die Spetzialität aufmerksam. Fragt ja nicht nach Pommes die gibts dort nicht. Das Programm heisst Rösti! Tja, dann Bestellt man auch Rösti. Nach dem Essen musste man Sagen es schmeckte wunderbar. Die Gartenwirtschaft ist sehr eigen, nicht 08 15. Der Parkplatz ist auf der andern Strassenseite und recht gross.
Auf der Durchreise Richtung Süden, habe wir in diesem Restaurant unser Mittagessen eingenommen. Die Empfehlung des Besitzers war eine Rösti mit griechischen Zutaten. Die Rösti wurde bereits nach kurzer Zeit gebracht. Optisch sehr schön, Mega frische Zutaten, einfach der Hammer!Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wir kommen gerne wieder.....

After a long day of hiking and mishap with buses on our end, we decided to turn our short stop into a quick dinner. We received two Röstis and a beer within 10 minutes. It was one of the most delicious Röstis I have tried so far! I and my friend really enjoyed our meals, even though we didn’t have enough time to fully appreciate it!

Really delicious Bernese Rösti at fair prices and with a lot to choose from. Also exposed location on an applause curve on the Susten Pass. More than worth a recommendation.
A very lovely place with great hosts. The Rösti is an absolute must! It’s the most delicious Rösti I have had. Well done! I’d love to come to have dinner again
