Terrasse Du Petit Palais

The restaurant has a lovely view of the lake which is what I am assuming you pay for as the restaurant is very expensive. We had lunch when we stopped in Montreux on our way to Chamonix from Geneva. For a Fairmont property, it was a little rundown and tired and while the staff was helpful, the whole experience wasn't worth it. I am sure there are other places with good views that would be a better experience overall.

I had dinner with my family here, the staff were very nice , the atmosphere is excellent , the salads were superb, we loved them, but we were disappointed with our main course which were the lamb , veal and beef and fried Octopus, we expected them to be better, and the cost was high, we paid 400 swiss Franks for 5 people .

We had both a lunch and dinner while we were visit Montreux for a few days. What stands out most is the beautiful location facing Lake Geneva and the friendly, attentive staff. Food was excellent as well. Wonderful spot for lunch or dinner. It is part of the Fairmont Palace hotel

The food options and quality was very poor. Wish they would go back to the old menus! There are not so many options and the tastes were super bland.. It used to be the best place to eat french/suisse food. So i would highly suggest the management consider reviewing their menu

Great view, attentive and friendly staff, extensive menu and overall fabulous experience. I expected it to be way more expensive than it was.
