Excellent hamburgers made to order large buns meat patty here. Had a great shrimp cocktail, although the cocktail sauce came in a squirt bottle instead of a dipping cup. The shrimp cocktails come in American Mexican versions. A very wide selection of seafood steak items are offered at reasonable prices. Provides nicely remodeled restrooms with the entry door correctly mounted (one pulls it open to get in can back out the door to get out so one does not touch the handle with clean hands) although the door could use a gloss paint job. We will be back!
This restaurant is Cleveland's best-kept secret. The food is exceptional, and the service is fantastic. Everything we had was amazing, and with prices between $6 and $13, you won't break the bank. We ordered two appetizers, an étouffée, and two combo meals, and the total with drinks was only $43. I sincerely hope this place gets the support it needs to stay in business for a long time because we absolutely loved it! We will definitely return.
I visited for the first time during lunch right as they opened. The shrimp gumbo was excellent, and the fish and shrimp were fried to perfection. For just $13, I enjoyed a fantastic meal. The place is very clean and simple, which I appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. So far, Agave Mexican and Texas Seafood have been the best restaurants I've tried in Cleveland.
You'd think this place would serve seafood from Texas or at least gulf shrimp, not farm raised crap from who knows where. Ordered flounder and it was NOT flounder! Not sure what I was served but it wasn't flounder.

I'm not sure what happened, but the restaurant has been closed for about four weeks now. There's no explanation posted on the door—just a sign that says "closed today." However, it's been closed for weeks.
This restaurant is a little gem on Houston street in Cleveland. Really, really good fried fish and shrimp. Prices were great and service was good as well.
Hotel recommended. We tried it. Very happy we did. Great gumbo, catfish, good fries. Reasonable price, laid back atmosphere. Recommended!
