I happened to stop by this restaurant with my granddaughters while searching for a place to eat. Being new to the area, I was pleasantly surprised to find a TGI Fridays, especially since the ones on the Peninsula closed down years ago. We all had a great experience; the service was excellent and the food was delicious. The manager even came over to chat with us for a while. I shared with him how I used to visit the Peninsula location frequently before it permanently closed. It was a lovely time to sit with my teenage girls and enjoy a nice meal together. I arrived at the restaurant late and just wanted something to drink, specifically water. I needed to drive a long distance and most of the stores were already closed. I informed the server (or host, I'm not sure) that I wanted to sit at the bar for a non-alcoholic drink, but it was full. I then requested water and he was very understanding. He quickly brought me a cup of water in a to-go cup at no charge. I gave him all the cash I had, which was less than $2, along with a big smile. Thank you if you are reading this. Updated: they gave lest chicken for the same salad we have always ordered and this time the chicken fingers were over cooked. On top either they are very short handed or just dragging their feet on my to go order was damn near 25 mins over due. I've been visiting this restaurant for a while now and have gone several times. The manager is a big SF 49ers fan, and he creates such a lively atmosphere. His service is fantastic. Yesterday, I went with a reservation and had a great experience with the food, wings, and service. A big shout-out to him, JJ, and the entire team!
