Been here several times over a year ago and it was always good. Now - wow what a difference. The food is not served as advertised on the menu. The burgers come nearly raw and without sauce. When I pointed this out the server apologised and replaced it...sadly though the replacement was exactly same. Without any noticeable sauce it was dry, chewy and tasteless. Similarly the pulled pork burger came without the coleslaw and again no BBQ sauce so was totally tasteless but had over 12 slices of pickle instead which made it acidic and horrible.Then the drinks - I've always told people the best margarita is TGIF's ultimate margarita. My friend and I went for drinks and snacks after finishing work. We waited around 20 minutes for a glass of champagne, and then another twenty minutes for two entrees. The waiters avoid eye contact when passing tables, or they're not even present in their sections, so customers end up resorting to hailing them down when they walk past or getting out of their booths to actually find a waiter. I've been to this restaurant a few times before and the service is much the same. The appetizers and entrees are quite pricey and are small portions. We came to TGIs very excited as it's the only one in NSW.The starters and sharing items were amazing and enjoyed by all. Lots of variety.Main 1 steak and mash was ordered as Medium Well, it was very ****. The mash was good so, covered it up.Main 2 Memphis Burger, not enough sauce, so had to use the sauces left over from the starters.Main 3 Texas Ribs, no spare bowl to put the bones, too dry. Main 4 Wood Smoked chicken was extremley dry and did not look like the image see attached.The manager did assist with this item, but only after tracking her down. The server just said many times, that's how it is served and was not very helpful.Unlikely to come back.
If you want a beer....and watch some sports then go here but the meals are poor. My wife had a ceaser salad and chicken which looked like it had been poured straight from a woolies lettuce bag with the tiniest piece of chicken I have ever seen on a salad of that size. The four piece rice salad was recently removed from the menu leaving me the the quesadillas. There was no chillis at all and it tasted like cardboard. The only saving grace was the boston lager...but at $10 bottle, hardly value.

I went in July and wrote a review cause it was sadly lacking. Went again and what a difference. The burgers were excellent this time - properly cooked and lots of sauce making them taste as they should. The margaritas were sharp and fresh and again as they should be. Our server was also absolutely fantastic - friendly and there when we needed him. It was great to experience TGIF as it is in the US and UK and will be back.
Very disappointed with the portion size of all four meals ordered especially for the price. Chicken Caesar Salad ($23) lacked dressing and was very bland. Pesto spaghetti ($18) was overpowered by garlic. Spaghetti Bolognese ($24) was full of oil. No complaints on the Chicken pasta ($24) other than the portion size. This was out first visit and will be our last.
We had a work group come in for dinner, we only had the appetisers tho! The fried mac'n' cheese was delicious!! The happy hour cocktails are good too! :p (I didn't drink much because I'm a lightweight plus I'm allergic to alcohol , but I still drink anyway) The service was great! We were served by Alex! Amazing customer service!!
Place was busy on a Thursday night. We stopped in for drinks only but they do have bar food. French champagne by the glass so I was happy also some good wines which is sometimes unusual for a bar. The senior barman was chatty and added to the atmosphere. Will stop by again

I can not fault this place. Atmosphere is just right. Service was attentive, without being in you face. A genuine concern for our comfort and satisfaction. Good quality food. A good range of food. A friendly and casually relaxed bar.
American style bar-very over rated and over priced. Plastic atmosphere. "Craft" beers were all American. Better and cheaper places nearby.
