Hi have been hear before and was good, this time was not so. Booked 3 days before going as we had 2 wheelchair users with us, got there and the table wasn’t ready, which was disappointing as we had pre booked, they took 10mins but cleared a table that was suitable, it seems in Leicester Square the restaurants don’t allocate you a table but take your booking and panic when you arrive. We weren’t offered disabled access via the exit, so had to go up step to get into the restaurant. Then the 10 min wait for a table, definitely not enough staff on. Then a near 20 mins for a staff member to take our order , even though we had been ready to order our food for 10mins, i ordered the half rack of Rib...
I would give no star if I could but one star is the only star in the whole restaurant which is the guy serving at bar. It so disheartening to see how such a good restaurant can go down so badly. I went to the restaurant on 11th December to celebrate my kids birthday but that was my mistake. The whole experience was so bad it literally spoiled my evening. To start with even after booking in advance we had to queue up in rain which I could understand as it’s busy time and staff shortage but restaurant was relatively empty. We had to wait for food for nearly 45 mins and when it arrived it was all cold, took me 15 mins to find someone to tell about food once they took it back it took them anothe...
matt with the merc hat saved this from a 1 star rating. table of 4 booked in 1930hs. we came around 1930 hours to say we have to wait outside until our sitting time. that was 1930. there was no point, but we are soon allowed and said we would sit on the bar and we would call. half an hour passed and we believe that we were forgotten when other people came and went out of cash, so that a worker was asked and we were advised that our table will soon be ready. another half an hour and dull noticed that we weren't fed up yet, so worked his magic and we got our table. a round drink as an apology and we went away. so an hour wait for our booked table, but was sorted with free drinks, so it is not...
Good restaurant. However, they let you in at the booking time but would not provide tables for at least 30 mins keeping you waiting at the bar even though they have empty tables. I guess, they tend to increase their bar sales with this policy. But that is not ideal with everyone, for example if someone has babies, or someone is pregnant or some disability, they won't be able to stand for 30 mins, neither thay are able to sit on high chairs. Otherwise no complains. Food was good in portions. Good ambience and staff were all nice except one who was showing tables at the very beginning.
This restaurant is good, but they allowed us to enter during our reserved time and then made us wait for at least 30 minutes for a table, even though there were empty tables available. It seems like they are trying to increase their cash sales by doing this, but it is not ideal for everyone, especially for those with babies, pregnant women, or any other physical limitations who cannot stand for that long. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were all nice except for one person who seemed unfriendly when seating us.
OMG! This place is amazing! First of all, the decoration is to die for. Incredible, really. Then, the staff is really nice. I think they made an extra effort because they realised we were only visiting London. I ate the veggie burger and it left me full until dinner. I would definitely recommend it and next time I'm in London I'm eating here again.
