We ordered takeaway from here Saturday night as we were eating out at our friend's place and the Thai restaurant we use to order from has recently closed down. Called up and was told to come and collect in 30minutes.<br/ <br/ I like their food and it was fresh and still piping hot by the time we arrived home. The skewers are chicken breast so it's nice, tender white meat. I love the wantons; the are crunchy and contain a good mix of crabmeat and chicken. The beef was good but I wouldn't choose it again. The flavours are great and it's got a good kick of chilli but I prefer sliced beef as opposed to mince and I think it's a bit expense for the serving size. We also ordered noodles and t...
This restaurant has been a favourite of ours for a good few years now. The service is always friendly and efficient in fact we are always welcomed and remembered by name. The food is exceptional and consistently so. Recommend the Satay Chicken for entrée the peanut sauce is exceptional and I have never eaten chicken as tender juicy. The Masaman, Duck and Penang Curries are excellent. Garlic Prawns, Pad Thai and Pad Prik dishes are equally tasty and the food is ALWAYS fresh. Can't comment on Desserts as not a big sweets person. Personally, I believe the prices are appropriate for the quality and quantity of the meal sizes not to mention the GREAT service poor service has ruined dinners for us...
Thai Corner used to be a place I looked forward to because of the quality and decent portions. I dont mind paying more for quality. Unfortunately it really missed the mark when I ordered takeaway today. Seems as though portion sizes have decreased. Roast Duck red curry hardly had any roast duck and instead of the thick duck pieces and thicker curry, instead it was very watery. Egg shell remninces in the fried rice. Hardly any chicken in the Yum Vermicelli. Im sorry, for the money you pay it should be better. I couldnt bring myself to give my experience 2 stars because I have too much respect for Thai Corner as its served my family for years. Hopefully my next experience is a better one...
Never judge a book by its cover. Visited this little place for the first time with eight friends and we were the first to arrive. At first we took a look at the surroundings and considered making a run for it. I am so glad we didn't as the food and service was simply the best. We shared eight different dishes including a green curry, garlic beef, spicy chicken and a fish dish. All were cooked perfectly and were sooo tasty. Highly recommend this place and cannot wait to return. Réservez une table maintenant
Everything about our experience was outstanding! The service was impeccable, and the entrée spring rolls were delightful. For the main courses, we enjoyed chicken with cashew nuts and red curry accompanied by rice, all of which tasted incredibly authentic. It’s a charming family-run restaurant, and the waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. We had a lovely night out and will definitely be returning!
I had a great experience at Thai Corner. After a late night at work, I decided to pick up some Thai food. I've been here before and had a good meal, but this time was even better! The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared quickly. The customer service was also excellent. Plus, they offer a great selection on the menu. I’ll definitely be back!
