Apron arrival the atmosphere in not authentic. The resurant is old walls have grease marks over it tables are rocky, table cloths had cigarette burns on it. The meals ordered were mixed entrée, this consisted of your normal entree pickings. The fish cake was soggy...and resembled the frozen kind lack luster tast to all. Green chicken curry, had a slight tinge of curdled milk, very few pieces of chicken and lots of curry. Cashew nut chicken came with a fly and the waitress did see the fly and did nothing about it. This meal had also little meat but if you were a vegetarian you would love it. overall extremely disappointed the meals average from $14.00 to $22.00. Not worth the money.
We went to the restaurant and the service was terrible. I'm not sure if they were being discriminatory (I don't want to say this) but we waited 15 minutes just to be given a menu and my child needed water. We asked for a bottle of water and after another 15 minutes passed, we still hadn't received it and decided to leave. Other customers who came in after us received their menus and food, it was a pathetic experience. I can't comment on the taste of the food as we didn't stay to try it.
This hidden gem of a restaurant is located at the Golden Beach local shops. The interior is simple, but the dishes we tried were of high quality, delicious, and served in generous portions. The table service was excellent, although the beverage selection was limited when we visited. I would highly recommend visiting this family-owned restaurant for its truly excellent food, which is beautifully presented as shown in the pictures.
We recently spent a week in Caloundra and visited Thai Golden Beach twice during our stay - once for dinner and once for breakfast buffet. Both visits left all of us in the family extremely satisfied with our meals and the service provided by the staff. The pricing was also reasonable. Overall, a job well done.

absolutely frightening. we spent over $90. the amount was small for the price and away was cold. we could not recognize the dish, the rice was dry, and small sauce in satay. then they had to pay for a bag. it was disgusting. better eating in Thailand.
loves this restaurant Thai food in its best fresh vegetables, delicious sauces, much to choose from the menu. eat in has beautiful furniture to relax and enjoy large healthy food
We always have a feed of Thai when staying at Golden Beach great takeaway menu and ever so delicious. Cannot fault the food here. Have dined in previously and also great.
we ordered shortly before closing and got big service. nice eating, great Thai aromen. the teenager was sold. they look forward to returning.
