Thai Room Restaurant

Happy, smiling Thai service as you would expect. We had a lunch special for just $9.50. Great flavours enjoyed by all but a bit heavy on the rice/meat ratio in our selection of curries. Right beside the magnificent Orpheum movie theatre so great way is to watch a movie then have a bite to eat. It is not luxurious in decor but has the full range of traditional Thai dishes if you wish to pay a bit more. Liked the soft shell crab and duck curry on the menu ($19). Will try next time. The restaurant has a new name so not sure if new owners.Takeaway available- home and pickup.

This restaurant has been on Military Rd for a long time, and was redecorated a while back, which has really brightened it up. I have going here for years and the service is always excellent, and the food consistently good. It is purely BYO, but with three wine shops within a stones throw, this is not a problem if you forget to bring something with you.It is also perfectly located close to the Hayden Orpheum theatre for a pre or post movie dinner.

I've eaten here more then i can count. On military road, around the corner from the Cinemas. How convenient for a meal before/after the movies. Great range and price range. Cant fault

a group of up went here for dinner and we all selected a different dish to share, all dishes were amazing, loads of flavour and very enjoyable. Service was prompt and good. Réservez une table maintenant

Was takeaway. To my taste a perfect balance of the classic thai flavours. Had Chilli and basil chicken and Pad Thai Chicken. All cooked beautifully and decent servings.

I'm no expert on Thai food, but I liked what I ate. Service was fast and friendly, possibly because there were very diners that night. Good value for money.

I love the Pad Siew and Crying Tiger. The specials are usually good. Close to Cremorne Orpheum. Good for pre and post movie meal.
