"This place is my family's go to Thai spot. The food is consistent, the service is good, the price is solid. Great choice for a casual dinner! We always get the vegetarian tom kha gai soup and the eggplant basil. Then mix in whatever curry and noodle dish we're feeling that day."

I used to order from here all the time. Back in 2011-2017, I would order food from Thai Satay for delivery at least 2-3 times a week, and also order catering from them regularly. Their food was yummy and fresh. During COVID shutdowns I didn't have to go to work on a daily basis--the same as most in the area. It appears that the quality has gone downhill in that time. To provide an example of what has changed, I have always loved their Basil Fried Chicken Wings. Except, the last few times I've ordered it the chicken tastes like it was microwaved to death before being fried, The chicken is dry, hard, and barely edible. Another example is their Pad Thai which seemed to have far fewer ingredient...

While I will eat Thai food if that's my friends' or group's preference, however, all my life I have avoided Thai cuisine because of the heavy use of coconut and peanuts in their dishes. Thai Satay Restaurant has turned that preference upside down! I have fallen in love with their delicate balance of coconut that is not overpowering in their dishes. Their Seafood Delight dish is true to its name! If you already love this cuisine I think you'll really enjoy this place. The restaurant entrance is flat and very ADA accessible. Street parking has always been convenient, but there also is a metered parking lot nearby.

It's been a minute since we were here, but we really wanted thai so my coworker and I decided to give this place another try. Highlights: great thai iced thai and quick service. Cons: horrible free salad and weird watery coconut soup with some veggies. I love coconut, but this soup tastes like a weird coconut soap. Leaves a weird taste in your mouth. Coworkers chicken lunch was hella dry. The crab Rangoon is filled with cream cheese and no crab. See picture. Lunch special is reasonable and the peanut sauce and Pad Thai are good. A bunch of hits and misses so I'll give this 3 stars.

This food is delicious and vegan friendly! And they're so nice and are actually Thai! Sweet basil tofu was had nice basil flavor. The spicy fried rice was soooo good (our favorite) and not that spicy. We also got the mushroom soup and it came in a cute dish. Their presentation of the food is always really pretty. Not that many people inside but has a nice cozy feeling
