My regular spot was closed, so I decided to try Thaïzone. The counter service was quick and friendly, but unfortunately, the Pad Thai was the worst I've ever had. I ordered one with tofu and one without, but the tofu was burnt and completely ruined that order — it was black and should never have been served. It's clear that the cook made a conscious decision to include those obviously charred pieces. My girlfriend wasn't satisfied with her dish either; while it was better than the burnt one, it still fell short. The Pad Thai was overly heavy, watery, and seemed to contain ingredients that weren't listed on the menu. It felt more like a noodle casserole than the dish shown in the menu photos.
I eat here often enough and the portions are always very generous and the flavor is always spot on. Got to meet the gentleman from Montreal that is in charge of quality control and overall success and cost, he was a breath of fresh air and most hospitable. Will continue to support this great chain as long as they are around 5 stars and 2 thumbs up ?????Dietary restrictions: It's next to a McDonald's...hands down a better bang for your buck and waste line.
Overall, I had a great experience at Thaïzone. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the food is both aromatic and delicious. I opted for takeout, and while the portion size felt a bit small for the price, it was prepared exceptionally quickly—just 5 minutes. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, which could have benefited from a bit more spice, but since I wasn’t asked about my preferred spice level when ordering, I didn't specify.
I called at 8:30 PM on Sunday night and, after several attempts, finally got someone on the line at 8:45 PM. They informed me that they weren't taking any new orders because they had been busy all day, even though they were still open. I suggested that since they weren't closed yet, they should continue to take orders instead of cleaning up, and the employee hung up on me. This was incredibly rude customer service!

I ordered the Orange Beef with extra meat, but I was disappointed to get home and find that I had been given chicken instead of beef.
The door was difficult to open and required a lot of effort. However, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was very clean.

Nice food, well prepared, not terribly priced. Recommend this place.
