Thanasis is my go to restaurant for any occasion. Dinner with my family, lunch with my coworkers, intimate anniversary celebration, baby and wedding showers for my daughter and much more. The food never disappoints always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is quick at lunchtime and just the right pace at dinner fast enough if you're hungry but not rushed. For the quality and caliber of this restaurant, I think the prices are very reasonable. The flaming sausage is one of a kind! The calamari is always tender and delicious. There are so many scrumptious menu items to choose from that it makes you want to go back for more and more!
Stopped in for lunch, and although the server got my dish wrong, I ordered the Loukanika for lunch and I got the Beef Kokinisto, it was amazing. I would definitely have that again. Server was great. Food was great and I will be back again soon.

Excellent place More of your fine-dining type of Greek restaurant, and it beats EVERY single one in Detroit's Greektown across the river.
