I went to Thatcher McGhee's for dinner on a Wednesday night with my family. The "dining room" was fairly busy and the bar was crowded. The service was excellent and our food arrived quickly despite the crowd. The Irish dishes we ordered, including shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, Guinness stew, and bangers with a scone on top, were all delicious. All the food was served hot and remained so throughout our meal, which was greatly appreciated. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals as well. Overall, Thatcher McGhee's is a great choice if you're in the mood for Irish cuisine or a hearty meal.
My daughter and I stumbled upon this restaurant while waiting for our Electric Vehicle to charge. Initially, we walked past it thinking it was closed, but then we circled around to the other side and entered through the bar. It felt like we had discovered the best spot in a college town. The place was bustling and lively...but in a great way. We made our way through the bar and found a table in the restaurant area. The food was delicious, although the service was a bit slow. If I find myself in the area with more time, I will definitely be back to check it out again!
Absolutely loved the interior, decor, and atmosphere. We had appetizers for our meal that we shared. We tried a sampler that had wings, tator tots, chicken fingers, and a pretzel. We also had the fries that came with cheese and caramelized onions and a side of gravy. Everything was hot and fresh. I don't know that I would get the fries again, as a personal preference it felt like there were too many large onions, but the gravy and cheese were delicious. I'm eager to try actual meals here soon!
Parking is street parking and can be difficult to find during the busy afternoons in Denville. Food is always excellent here I usually always order the crock of chili and the crock of Mac and cheese they’re my favorites off the menu the loaded chicken nachos are also delicious. The drinks are also good here but on the pricier side. I love that they have darts hidden away in the corner I always have had good experiences here with my friends and family.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic at this restaurant. It's a fun spot to enjoy an Americanized take on Irish cuisine. The Chicken curry is reminiscent of what I had in Ireland, and the fish and chips are also delicious. The sandwiches are tasty as well. Don't miss out on trying the Rueben egg rolls, but be aware that they are a generous portion perfect for sharing as an appetizer for 2-3 people.
Overall not too bad of a spot. Nice large bar and multiple rooms to dine in. Food was pretty good but I think the service is lacking a bit which might be because they are understaffed. It might be too much for the server and I know they are working hard. If you done here, factor in time because it is bit on the slow side.
Convenient downtown Denville Irish Pub Restaurant chain. Food is typical for this type of pub restaurant and atmosphere is dark pub vibe. It is busy most nights ans service can be somewhat pedestrian but still pleasant.
Nice Irish pub. With the atmosphere you’d expect. Good beer selection, and a lively crowd. Tried the fish and chips. Generous portions and well made. Bar tenders are attentive and friendly.

Delicious food, great service, not expensive compared to every other place! Fun atmosphere, can't wait to go back!!! French onion soup was amazing!
