The restaurant has a stunning ambiance, but unfortunately, the food and service didn't quite live up to our expectations. I had arranged the reservation through my Amex concierge, but we faced a few issues during our visit: we found a hair in our scarf and a fly in one of the beers. While the waitress tried her best to address these problems, we were hoping for a bit more care and attention to detail. Auberge is one of our favorite places in Napa! We recently attended the Jubilee dinner there, and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was charming, the service was top-notch, and the food was exquisite! For a Michelin-starred restaurant, the lunch prices are quite reasonable. Just the ambiance makes it worth the visit. We dined under the warm sun, enjoying views of the gentle hills and vineyards, and each dish was beautifully balanced and expertly prepared. The pork chop was especially remarkable—so tender and juicy, even though my partner and I usually aren't fans of pork chops. The cocktails were exceptional as well. One aspect we especially appreciated was when my wife inquired about the best wine pairing for her dish; Miguel provided us with a wine sampler that included two options. Although we did pay for the sampler, it was definitely worth it to help us make the perfect wine selection. Overall, it was an incredible dining experience, and we can't wait for our next visit.
This Michelin-starred restaurant boasts a beautiful outdoor terrace with breathtaking views. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with dinner options including either 3 or 4 courses and an extensive selection of dishes, including delightful desserts. The view is incredible, but the food was just average. On the bright side, the desserts were truly delightful! Sadly, my short rib dish was a bit saltier than I like. I would certainly come back to enjoy some wine and soak in the scenery. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I think parking is only available via valet. The location is lovely and has a somewhat secluded feel.
This is a gorgeous location with stunning views of Napa Valley, and the food was outstanding as well. My partner found her main dish to be somewhat lacking, but she really enjoyed the other dishes. We were lucky to be seated immediately when we arrived for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was prompt and welcoming. The food was fresh and tasty. When they learned it was our wedding anniversary, they kindly added a chocolate message to our dessert. We can't wait to come back with friends!
