Excellent burgers and great beer selection. Huge portions and it always comes with a free macaroni. Liquor and mixed drinks are also available. The bar is almost always bustling, but I would consider it to be more of a cozy restaurant than a straight-up bar, though both are equally good. Plenty of seats and very rarely have I waited for a seat. A good place for friends to drop in and have a great meal and a good time, but not usually good for a dating spot due to the hustle and bustle (depending on the night). Live music is often performed here; its quality varies but more often than not adds to the mood. All in all, a great place to check out in Bellmore.

Update. Looks like a complete change of staff, maybe property. The food was still excellent, the reception was lukewarm, otherwise the service was pleasant. Live music was great in terms of quality and mix, seriously talented musicians, but the volume was exaggerated, too much for the size of Third Rail. I typed the musician and told him how I appreciated him and the volume problem, but I didn't want to interrupt, but I can't imagine others not feeling the same.

My first time here and my last time. Was here for my engagement party with my American friends and never had anything I had ordered. My fiancée had been here several times before pandemic and really liked it here. The only thing I can write is that the waitress was very apologetic that we tilted her and ran away. Good luck, who comes in there, I hope they have your food.

Cozy bar and grille located on Petit Avenue in Bellmore, NY. This bar and grille, conveniently located next door to the Bellmore movie theater, never disappoints. Highly suggest the spinach salad.
