This bar is AWESOME! Great prices on drinks and if you like bar food let me tell you the food here is GREAT!! hand cut fries seasoned to perfection hand cut chicken strips that are the best I've ever had and they are BIG! The fried pickles are slap yo momma great. All the food is made to order and worth the wait. Nothing from boxes all homemade the Woodchuck is a burger you'll dream of at night. The whole staff is friendly and I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this establishment. If you're in Winfield or want to drive to Winfield for great food and a good time I suggest The Bar and Grill. The best kept secret in south central Kansas
Overall, the food was outstanding, and the service was friendly, all at a very reasonable price. I ordered the catfish basket and was completely satisfied with my choice. The fries were delicious, though a bit on the salty side. My friend had the crispy chicken sandwich and also found it enjoyable. My main concern was the atmosphere—it was surprisingly quiet, with only a UFC fight playing on the screen. There was no music or background noise, which made for some awkward silences at times. However, the patio area is charming; if they added an outdoor stage, it could transform into a fantastic venue for live music.
The service was rather slow, but since I take my time with drinks, it wasn't too bad once I finally caught the bartender's attention. I played a few games of pool on what appeared to be new felt, though it could use a good brushing. The bar was fairly quiet, with only about 15-20 customers present. Price per person: $1–10. A group of us went to The Bar last night for an election results watch party, and we were very impressed. Nicole was incredibly accommodating, setting one TV to a local channel and another to a national network. The beer was great, the food was delicious, and we had the chance to meet some wonderful people. Thank you, Nicole!

Wife wanted to go drinking for her Birthday so we stopped in for a quick drink and some pool. Nice atmosphere. She got a Birthday cake shot (Thank you staff! Which she really liked. Both of her other drinks were made excellent. We had a good time as did the other patrons who happened to be in there.
Service was s-l-o-w, but since I drink very slowly, so it wasn't bad after I finally got the attention of the bartender. I played a few games of pool, on what looked like new felt, that needed a good brushing I might add. Pretty quiet in the bar withonly 15-20 customers in the place.
Great atmosphere an amazing bartenders. Excellent appetizers. Really decent drink prices. Love the outdoors Smoking Pit and the three pool tables that are available to customers.
Came here on my birthday played some pool with my husband had a great time. Also received a birthday shot that tasted like birthday cake it was great. Very friendly staff.

The atmosphere is acceptable; however, it does tend to draw in some inconsiderate customers and bartenders. Furthermore, the drinks are often made inconsistently.
Came on free pool night. Had great food and great service. Highly recommend the bar.
