The Alex is a great cafe on beach road overlooking the sea, in Felixstowe. Parking is a black art in Felixstowe, especially when the weather is warm, but the cafe benefits from both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is good standard cafe style fayre and it is possible to even ask for a few things that might not be on the menu (such as bacon sandwiches). The chocolate milkshake isn't bad either my only complaint is that it is a bit small! The cafe also gets a tick for being dog friendly (for those seated outside). There are bowls of water laid out for our four legged friends.

Found The Alex on the boardwalk in Felixstowe. Although you order at the bar all the staff was very friendly and the food was served fast. Fish and chips were the best I had in the UK. Great atmosphere. If you are looking for a great meal this is the place.
