Came in with high expectations but the experience was disappointing sadly. We got the smoked boar perogies, duck burger and the spicy elk meatballs. Only three small perogies came with the dish and I could barely find any meat in there! There was way toomuch crust and no meat. The drinks were good but nothing spectacular. The specialty craft burger was flat and there was Kraftcheese slices in there??? The last meal was the spicy elk meatballs and it came with three meatballs, wasn?t a lot for the pricebut it was filling to a degree. It was probably the best dish, but it wasn?t spicy at all. Went last night around 10:30 for a last minute dinner to celebrate my promotion. Every other bar in the area said their kitchen was closed but recommended we try this place. We felt awful for coming so late but they did not disappoint at ALL. The food wasamazing, the ambiance was great and the service was fast. The prices were awesome too. We spent way less than expected. I gotthe duck poutine and it was amazing. My problem with jersey city food is that there's usually no seasoning at all. Very bland.But this place does it right. I'll definitely be back...maybe even today lol.
Great place for drinks. Their cocktails are pretty good, the space is nice and moody. What you?d expect from a cocktail bar. I had their Rum Espresso Martini, Old Fashioned and Negronis. Everything was great, definitely recommend if you?re looking forgood cocktails.
