Meet good friends from central coast Saturday 5th August 2017 for lunch arriving 1215pm. Eight of us so it was a good size group.Sat having a few drinks trying to decide what I was going to have from the menu. There were so many choices that enticed my taste buds but the slow cooked lamb won me over. Friends made choices from the steak, pizza, the pie of the day to risotto.So impressed at the meal sizes and the comments on the food from the table was so positive. We had dinner here tonight with a small group of friends. After arriving there we waited about 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. (There was a sign which said wait here to be seated) However, no one assisted us. After enquiring from the counter, they reluctantly arranged us a table. Most of food we ordered tasted below average. However the stake was okay and the vegetable pizza with beetroot and sweet potatoes tasted very nice.When we ordered mains we asked them, should we order desserts in advance. They said not to and we can order them later on. When we went to order dessert later on, they said the kitchen was closed.This is the second time we went to this place and got disappointed. Went to this place last week for the first time... definitely I will be back many times.The food is really nice.. We just tried the shares but it was more than enough to tell the quality.There are many choices for beer.. from the commercial brands to their own brewed.. if you are not decided which one you want to choose you can get the tasting tray which gives you 5 choices ...

Good atmosphere, reasonably priced food with good menu options and portion size. Quick service, clean and overall a very good pub meal. Activities for the kids to keep them amused while the adults can enjoy a drink.

The title says it all. I got a schnitzel! I love classic Aussie pub food and The Brewery definitely has that! The gravy here however isn't that great, but I needed something to put on my schnitzel so it had to do.
