The Back Door Bakery Cafe

I missed my chance to visit this bakery as it was always closed. Maybe it was a sign. However, I finally had the opportunity to stop by today and unfortunately, I was disappointed. I tried three different pastries - a carrot cake cupcake, a chocolate coma cupcake, and the apple cake. When I got home and tried to eat them, they all tasted like they had been sitting in the refrigerator for days and were not fresh or edible. Additionally, I ordered a mango pineapple leaf that was bland. Overall, I was not satisfied with the quality of the food given the prices.

What a disappointing experience. When I inquired about vegan options, I was met with uncertainty as the staff only offered vegetarian options. Unfortunately, there were no vegan pastries available as they used butter in everything. The only vegan option was a veggie burrito with veggie meat, but that was only available during breakfast hours. They did offer bagels, but no vegan cream cheese. The limited selection and lack of vegan options made the trip not worth it. I won't be returning.

Great little place with friendly staff. I also enjoyed the carrot cake cupcake (the icing was a bit hard for my taste... a southern boy). Friend got the breakfast Burrito and wait it was incredible. If I'm in the area and need a coffee (which was great), I'll definitely look by. Réservez une table maintenant

There are plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians at this restaurant! Everything is prepared fresh, including the bread which has a vegan option available. Sauces can also be made with plant-based milks.

The staff is very friendly. They have a large selection and they make almost everything fresh and in the house. I love coming in in in the morning to get fresh orange juice.

amazing organic bakeries baked fresh daily, all top shelf ingredients from scratch, and much better coffee then they know where. they even make them.
