Shadow Hills' Hidden Gem!! This is some of the best Italian cuisine in all of Los Angeles! It even gives Ponte a run for its money. The food was absolutely incredible! Everything was perfectly seasoned, beautiful in presentation and probably the closest in authentic Italian cooking that I've tasted in Los Angeles. I ordered one of the specials that evening and every bite was packed with flavor! You know the chef cares about the dish when the pasta alone has its own taste not to mention how perfectly cooked, juicy and savory the chicken was. And the tomato sauce was to die for. The dish was perfectly balanced with every ingredient working in tandem without any one item overpowering the other...
I don't normally review restaurants but I felt as though this restaurant deserves it. I met the owner and the head chef of Villa Terraza. They are very nice guys and extremely down to earth. The ambiance is unlike anything you have experienced before hidden gem. Will definitely be coming back soon! Edit April 2018 I eventually did come back here several times since my initial review. We tried breakfast after they had only been open early for 6 days. Good strong coffee was my first clue that it was going to be great. Corned beef hash not out of a can. Freshly cooked Yukon gold breakfast potatoes, eggs cooked the way I like them the toast was not just that thin sliced bread, it was delicious. An after breakfast stroll around the property was a nice finish. Hope they can keep it open. A real treasure for the area. We will be trying lunch next, then dinner.
One of the most amazing restaurants I've ever been to! The food is delicious, the server/staff were extremely polite I couldn't have asked for better service. The environment is beautiful and I will definitely be coming back here again and again. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone to come and experience it first hand! Had an amazing B-Day dinner experience! Starting with the waiters super friendly to the yummy appetizers then the delicious dinner to the amazingly delicious desserts. The owner came to our table to check if everything was okay and we felt like we were at a 5 star restaursnt...I will be returning thank you for the hospitality.
