We attended a Club Christmas Lunch with a group of 30 people, which we had pre-booked. The service provided by the management and staff was exceptional - they were pleasant, polite, and very helpful. They made us feel like we were their most important customers. Despite the large group, we were served quickly. There was a great selection of starters, mains, desserts, and cheese and biscuits available, and everyone I spoke to thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I recently visited the Barge and Bottle on Carre Street in Sleaford, Lincolnshire for Sunday lunch. We were greeted with exceptionally friendly service upon arrival and were promptly shown to our reserved table. We were offered drinks while we perused the extensive menu options. We both opted for the Sunday Roast with all the trimmings. Our drinks arrived shortly after, including a bowl of water for our dog who accompanied us. This is a fabulous place. What a discovery! There's a massive menu with everything you could possibly imagine. I was expecting decent pub grub but could not believe the quality of food on offer. I had large grimsby haddock and chips delicious. So fresh and a big portion. We also had pizza again, freshly cooked and home made. I could see people around having lovely roasts too. The staff were friendly and very efficient. The atmosphere in the place is lovely not too loud and pubby. Good space between tables and nice booths. I don't know how they manage to have such a wide ranging menu and produce it so freshly. Would highly recommend. Ps reasonable prices!

Really friendly staff, excellent service, nothing too much trouble. They were busy, but served efficiently and with a smile terrific. Food was delicious, large portions, nice presentation. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and value for money. If we lived nearer we would not hesitate to return at the slightest excuse! Réservez une table maintenant

We arent from the area and came across this place on google, a review saying ‘new favourite place to eat in sleaford.’ so we thought we would give it a try. It was definitely worth it. not bad pricing with excellent quality food. would highly recommend!

Me and my friend came in on Saturday, it was extremely busy however they still managed to find us a table (as we forgot to book! and despite how busy they were they couldn’t do more for us. On top of that the food was delicious! Thank you!

The restaurant has a very professional and friendly staff, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely. I will definitely be returning soon for a relaxing evening.

Great pub. Has slowly become a regular for us over the last 3/4 years, had a 20+ person Xmas do there which which was excellent.
